The CSA certified Marey GA14CSALP is an indoor tankless water heater ideal for any size home, cabin, cottage, apartment or small commercial use application and able to provide 3 points of use simultaneously with 3.7 GPM of continuous hot water.

Unlike most tankless water heaters in this series which use air from inside the building for combustion, this propane direct-vent model uses air from the outside. This improves efficiency and makes the heater more suitable for situations where you have an air tight construction or negative indoor air pressure situation (i.e. when operating other exhaust fans, wood stoves, etc which also move air from inside to the outdoors).

Other advantages of this direct-vent model:

• Low flow activation - with a requirement of just 15psi and 0.65GPM (2.4LPM) this model can function for applications with low water pressure more effectively.
• Anti-freeze protection - the system uses a small heating coil to help prevent the heat exchanger from freezing. In addition, the direct-vent design also helps prevent freezing vs conventional single exhaust systems when used in airtight or negative air pressure installations. See below for more details.

Freeze warning: It's important to note that while freeze protection and direct venting helps prevent freezing, if you have an extended power outage or environmental situation where the unit internal temperatures may drop, additional precautions should be taken as outlined in the manual. Seasonal use installations should have the unit fully drained before winter storage. Freeze damage is not covered under warranty!
